WANTED : Someone who can give a decent review of 36-image converter on download.com!
Let’s give a summary of some past reviews :
“Version: 36-Image Converter 220.127.116.11 (2/5)
Pros: None that I can think of
Cons: I have not found a use for this program as of yet
Summary: Not useful to me but may be for others.”
What this review was all about, I don’t know. Someone downloaded an application called 36-IMAGE CONVERTER and found it to be useless because it can open 36 image filetypes and convert them 21 other formats. What did you expect 36-image converter to be? an antivirus application?
“Version: 36-Image Converter 18.104.22.168 (1/5)
Cons: could not installl it, there is an error in the download
Summary: don’t download this”
Thanks to an error in the uploading system of Download.com an invalid executable was put online, who takes the blow once again, WE!
“Version: 36-Image Converter 22.214.171.124 (1/5)
Cons: The software has an unfinished feel to it. The only files to which I could convert were BMPs. Moreover, the help files lists all sorts of input and output file formats, but none of them work, except BMP.”
The age of Vista errors! luckily this was fixed in V4.4, but who cares, we will find some other way to break down 36IC!
“Version: 36-Image Converter 126.96.36.199 (1/5)
Pros: Before downloading i read this: bmp, .jpeg, .jpg, .gif, .png, .tif, .ico, .psd, .cut, .pic, .cel, .pbm, .pgm, .ppm, .pdd, .bw, .rgb, .rgba, .sgi, .rla, .spf, .rpf, .pcc, .pcx, .icb, .epx, .fax, .tga, .tiff, .dib, .rle, .emf, .wmf, .psp, .pcd, .icb, .jfif
Cons: Before downloading i read this: bmp, .jpeg, .jpg, .gif, .png, .tif, .ico, .psd, .cut, .pic, .cel, .pbm, .pgm, .ppm, .pdd, .bw, .rgb, .rgba, .sgi, .rla, .spf, .rpf, .pcc, .pcx, .icb, .epx, .fax, .tga, .tiff, .dib, .rle, .emf, .wmf, .psp, .pcd, .icb, .jfif.
After downloading i dont see the .spf option as a file to chose. What gives? You say this in the advertisment that it is an option. I am totally dissappointed”
Someone who couldn’t open a specific filetype with 36-image converter while there was an extension console included to set any filetype to 36IC, 36IC4.2 supported sps/spf.
“Version: 36-Image Converter 2
Cons: nothing good about it that I could tell, could not even get any info on the site to help. It gives NO info on how to use the program. When I finally figured out how to use it, the words came up, but not the converted image. None of my photo programs would recognize the pics, just the words.”
This is the worst review ever! The 36IC 2.0 had 3 buttons, one to open a file and one to save, the third one was a help icon to open the help file, but this lad couldn’t find any help on how to use 36IC. Put a chimp behind a pc and make it operate 36IC 2.0 and he would do just fine, but the interface was a bit to difficult for this kind man. There was no info on our site indeed, we just had a forum, a FAQ-section, a product page and a customerservice!
To anyone who would like to review 36IC in the future : If you can’t write something useful, then just write nothing at all.
