FlashPhix is a photography app which can turn your boring pictures into beautiful sceneries by giving you complete control over the intensity, color and distribution of a picture’s lighting.
FlashPhix 2.2 is now available for only 0.99$, get it now as the promo might be over in a few days. (iTunes Link)
If you’re still not sure you can try the free lite version, this version is great to control a picture’s exposure but doesn’t provide the color and distribution tools that the pro version contains (iTunes Link)
FlashPhix Lite was released last week but due to a mess up at Apple HQ, FlashPhix 2 was only released to the iTunes App Store today. FlashPhix 2 is the next version of our brightness enhancer for iPhone, FlashPhix. This version can handle the brightness and exposure of images in a unique way like no other camera flash or brightness app does in the App Store. It enables you to lighten up bright and dark parts of an image separately, providing highly customizable results. Additionally we also released a free version of FlashPhix as FlashPhix Lite, which enables you to lighten just lighten your images with one slider. As always FlashPhix and FlashPhix Lite support full resolution.

Bring light and darkness to all your pictures with FlashPhix, the most powerful way to adjust a picture’s exposure on the iPhone!
**NEW VERSION WITH MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS**
When you take pictures with your iPhone you might notice that the iPhone Camera is only useful when there is enough light available. Why accept this?
Nothing is lost, with FlashPhix you can simulate a camera flash on every picture at full resolution or correct pictures which are over- or underexposed.
Do you have pictures which are useless because you took them in the evening or because there’s too much light? FlashPhix brings daylight or shadow to each of them and this in an eye-catching and easy to use interface.
FlashPhix provides you with a set of features which enable you to control a picture’s exposure and contrast to the detail. You can either bankrupt yourself buying a digital camera with light sensor or buy FlashPhix for a scratch and enhance your pictures like a professional photographer.

This update requires iPhone OS 3.0 to function. If you haven’t done so, you can update your iPhone now.
On Tuesday 12 January 2010, Haiti was hit by an earthquake which destroyed the capital Port-au-prince completely, left millions homeless and made more than a hundred thousand deadly victims. The people who are left behind can use all the support they need and therefore the world is coming into action. That includes the independent iPhone developers community and therefore we and over 60 other iPhone and Mac developers have decided to donate all revenue our apps generate on the 20th of January 2010 to a good cause which is currently aiding the Haitian people.
All our paid app’s revenue on the 20th of January will hence be donated to “Artsen zonder Grenzen”, the Belgian variant of doctors without borders. In this way we can relieve the pain of the Haitian people at least a little bit.
Alone we won’t make much of difference, but all together we can make a huge difference and try to aid this country in need.
So if you decide to buy one of our Apps, do this on the 20th of January 2010.
Here you can find a list of all our apps :

We’ve seen the issues with the dice and coin in iDuelpro 4.6 pile up and it was time to take action of course. We can’t keep on supplying people with a useless dice and coin feature. So Monday we submitted a quick fix to the App Store which makes these features a lot more accurate an actually useable.
Together with the fix in the dice and coin simulation we also made some minor adjustments to optimize iDuelpro 4.7 for iPhone OS v3.1.2.
The new version is now available in the iTunes Store : iDuelpro 4.7
MonoPhix (App Store Link) has been one of the most evolved -Phix apps we built to date. When something is finally rich in features, you can cut some features away and make it available for free and that’s what we did. With MonoPhix lite (App Store Link) you can now finally enjoy high contrast adjustable black & white filtering for free on your iPhone or iPod Touch.
MonoPhix lite is practically the same as MonoPhix, it converts your iPhone’s pictures to Monochrome at full resolution, but with a few changes :
-The sliders which enabled you to control light and dark shades separately have now been merged into one contrast slider
-The Presets to set the depth or contrast with one touch are missing
-The ability to use sepia and antique filters in addition to the black & white filter are missing
-There’s an ad displayed in the startup screen to allow people to upgrade to full MonoPhix
During the holidays iPhone apps tend to do slightly better. How much? Well we’ve listed our apps and their increased popularity during the best day of December. Especially our Yu-gi-oh! calculator for iPhone, iDuelpro did excellent.

And MonoPhix was down… Maybe people aren’t looking for Black & White apps during the holidays. (Download)
This was on the 25th of December, makes me wonder what New Year will bring.
At the moment we are developing a new version of an iPhone app that needs updating, FlashPhix. We’re still testing and tweaking, but the results look promising although some of the filters take up to 20 seconds to be completed.
But here’s small gallery of the resulting pictures :
Monaco Bay (FlashPhix – Advanced Lighting – Channels/Contrast
Deep Blue Sea (FlashPhix – Advanced Lighting – Channels/Contrast)
Tree of the Dead (FlashPhix – Advanced Lighting – Channels/Contrast/Global
Toy Castle (FlashPhix – Advanced Lighting – Channels/Contrast)
Our Yu-gi-oh! calculator for iPhone, iDuelpro, is now available in Portuguese as well. This brings the most used yu-gi-oh! calculator for iPhone to Brazil where iDuelpro wasn’t available before because apps in the games section aren’t allowed in Brazil and hence do not appear in the Brazilian App Store. So we simply made a new version which is only available in Portugal and Brazil and does not appear in the games section. As a little extra we made a complete Portuguese translation of iDuelpro.
So to make a long story short, Brazilian and Portuguese people now have an iDuelpro in their own language!
A new Duelpro for Windows update has been pushed out as well today, this version already contains a download link to the (P) version of iDuelpro.
The normal iDuelpro and the iDuelpro (P) for Brazil and Portugal are both available in the iTunes App Store.
iDuelpro has been in all iTunes Stores worldwide for ages, at least we thought. For some reason, games aren’t allowed in the Brazilian iTunes Store and iDuelpro happens to be in this category. So to bypass this shitty Apple rule we made a special version for Portugal and indeed, Brazil.
This version will be in Portuguese and will be exactly the same as the current iDuelpro v3.6 for iPhone and iPod Touch. In this way we can provide the biggest market for the Windows version, Duelpro, with a great lifepoints calculator as well.
As a result of this we will also adapt Duelpro for Windows to display the two iDuelpro versions during install.
iDuelpro (P) (Portuguese Edition) will be available the 5th of January.
Are it the dueling fanatics who get an early Christmas gift or are TCG’s becoming popular again? Anyway, iDuelpro was already popular, but it’s now even more popular and really becoming the killer Yu-gi-oh! App for iPhone & iPod Touch. The other versions for eg. Mac and Windows are also doing fantastic.
Especially the tons of extra features that the last updates brought are bringing a lot of extra Yu-gi-oh! and Magic! The Gathering players. We will even have to create a MTG variant of iDuelpro since the current version is more geared towards the Yu-gi-oh! TCG. But the fact that most versions except for the advanced iDuelpro for iPhone are free has something to do with the immense success and the nearly one million users worldwide.
